Jesus Christ Himself saved me as a young adult.  He taught me the beauty and glory of His Word.  He taught me that His Word divides believers from unbelievers by doctrine and practice.  Two times He has called me to stand up for His truth, the Bible.  I will continue to obey His calling until He calls me to glory as I pass from this Earth to Heaven, or He comes again from Heaven.

I wanted to share Scripture that the Lord encouraged me supports this ministry of His Word to my brothers and sisters, that He has given me.

11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head–Christ–16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes the growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.  Ephesians 4:11-16

I have been equipped by the teaching of the apostles, the prophets, and godly pastors, teachers and evangelists who love God, His Son and His Word, to minister to my brothers and sisters in the Lord the word of God for the edifying of the body of Christ, for the purpose of unity in the faith, being filled with all the fullness of Christ, so that we reject any and all false teaching so that we who love Christ Jesus can be encouraged to work for the growth of His body for further edification in love.  Praise God for His mercy and grace given to us in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior.  God bless you:)

Eliza, not sure where to post this, would prefer it to be private but anyway I was wondering if you were the victim of spiritual abuse in churches or a church and if you’ve written about it can you provide me to your links? Thanks

This is fine. Great to hear from you! Not really, although they tried at the last church were we attended for a few years towards the end they did. The Lord Jesus Christ protected me & actually used me for exposing their error. It was uncomfortable here & there a few times though. I would have to check what I have written to point you in the right direction. But I could also update what has happened in the past. Have you experienced this lately? I hope that all is going well with you & your wonderful family. God bless you!
You can always contact me via email which is posted on my site if you want.

Hi Eliza, it’s nice to find your blog, I would like to know your testimony, how do you find or convert to Christ? How do you change after you convert to him? Looking for your reply!

    God bless you!

Wow that’s a really good question. Thank you for the blessing the same to you. Here is my testimony:

Salvation comes about through faith in Jesus Christ, calling upon Him in faith:

Rom 10:8-17 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; (9) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (11) For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. (12) For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. (13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (14) How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? (15) And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! (16) But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? (17) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Growth as a believer in Jesus Christ comes about through His work in our hearts by His Holy Spirit & through His Holy Word:

2Pe 1:16-21 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. (17) For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. (18) And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. (19) We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: (20) Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. (21) For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

2Pe 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

I hope my story of Christ saving me, and the Scriptures I have shared have been helpful, if that is what you were looking for. Let me know. God bless you.

Do you write this blog as well?

No, but they have a few articles that I have written because at one time I did write for that blog in that I also posted my writing on their blog per their behest. We went our separate ways when there was disagreement about my biblical stand on the pre-tribulation rapture. Thank you for the great question.
