Fight

The following encouragement is taken from 2 Chronicles 13-14 in the New King James Bible.  My beloved brethren & fellow Americans, there has always been a battle between good & evil, light & darkness, Jesus Christ & the forces of evil in the world under the control of Satan.  Today is no different, we find ourselves in a battle against the forces of oppression arrayed against US through the liberals, the left, the MSM, corrupt purveyors of debauchery, and treacherous interlopers in our government.  At times the battle may seem to be more than we can handle, and indeed it is!  It is wisdom to correctly assess the forces set against US so we can then more astutely attack and abolish the foe!

Tonight, while reading God’s glorious holy Word the Bible, I was encouraged by the scenes set before me during the reign of the kings in ancient Judah. Two kings came against overwhelming forces of evil bent on their destruction; these kings trusted the God they obeyed and experienced a mighty deliverance by their great God and King the Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah!  May we likewise obediently call upon the name of our Lord God for His deliverance while we array ourselves in battle for the future of the United States of America and fight the good fight against the despicable foes who rage against US within our beloved country.  Please read the following passages from God’s Holy Word and be encouraged to look to Him!

1 In the eighteenth year of King Jeroboam, Abijah became king over Judah. 2 He reigned three years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Michaiah the daughter of Uriel of Gibeah.  And there was war between Abijah and Jeroboam.  2 Chronicles 13:1-2

God had divided the kingdom of Israel because king Solomon of Israel became disobedient and followed other gods; God preserved for Himself a remnant through the tribes of Judah and Benjamin in Southern Israel named Judah. The apostate northern kingdom, Israel, had been established by God but the king, Jeroboam, refused to follow God and instituted false worship throughout the land.  So, the two kings came together in battle in the northern kingdom in Ephraim.

3 Abijah set the battle in order with an army of valiant warriors, four hundred thousand choice men.  Jeroboam also drew up in battle formation against him with eight hundred thousand choice men, mighty men of valor.  4 Then Abijah stood on Mount Zemarain, which is in the mountains of Ephraim, and said, “Hear me, Jeroboam and all Israel: 5 Should you not know that the Lord God of Israel gave the dominion over Israel to David forever, to him and his sons, by a covenant of salt?  6 Yet Jeroboam the son of Nebat, the servant of Solomon the son of David, rose up and rebelled against his lord.  7 Then worthless rogues gathered to him, and strengthened themselves against Rehoboam the son of Solomon, when Rehoboam was young and inexperienced and could not withstand them.  8 And now you think to withstand the kingdom of the Lord, which is in the hand of the sons of David; and you are a great multitude, and with you are the gold calves which Jeroboam made for you as gods.  9 Have you not cast out the priests of the Lord, the sons of Aaron, and the Levites, and made for yourselves priests, like the peoples of other lands, so that whoever comes to consecrate himself with a young bull and seven rams may be a priest of things that are not gods?” 2 Chronicles 13:3-9

Notice king Abijah acknowledges and states Israel’s divine history, the history of the deceit of Jeroboam and his apostasy, and the mighty forces that Jeroboam had amassed against him under the control of his false gods.  Beloved, we must always remember the great history of our nation, and how God has often shed His beneficent grace upon this land, we must also understand the history of the evil forces trying to destroy America and who they are led by.  We must also realize the strength of the forces aligned against US.

10 “But as for us, the Lord is our God, and we have not forsaken Him; and the priests who minister to the Lord are the sons of Aaron, and the Levites attend to their duties.  11 And they burn to the Lord every morning and every evening burnt sacrifices and sweet incense they also set the showbread in order on the pure gold table, and the lampstand of gold with its lamps to burn every evening; for we keep the command of the Lord our God, but you have forsaken Him.  12 Now look, God Himself is with us as our head, and His priests with sounding trumpets to sound the alarm against you.  O children of Israel, do not fight against the Lord God of your fathers, for you shall not prosper!”

The southern kingdom of Judah remained faithful to God, obeyed Him and came out against the northern kingdom of Israel in the name of their God.  God has many times delivered America from disaster, while also punishing our disobedience.  Beloved we need to be faithful to our God by abiding in His truth, which is His Word the Bible, trusting our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ, and warn the fallen and the apostate to turn to and return to the Lord God Almighty, our Savior Jesus Christ!  Now we are in a battle for God’s blessing to be upon our nation, while we undo the works of darkness that have troubled the land.

13 But Jeroboam caused an ambush to go around behind them; so they were in front of Judah, and the ambush was behind them.  14 And when Judah looked around, to their surprise the battle line was at both front and rear; and they cried out to the Lord, and the priests sounded the trumpets.  15 Then the men of Judah gave a shout; and as the men of Judah shouted, it happened that God struck Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah.  17 Then Abijah and his people struck them with a great slaughter; so five hundred thousand choice men of Israel fell slain.  18 Thus the children of Israel were subdued at that time; and the children of Judah prevailed, because they relied on the Lord God of their fathers.  19 And Abijah pursued Jeroboam and took cities from him: Bethel with its villages, Jeshanah with its villages, and Ephrain with its villages.  20 So Jeroboam did not recover strength again in the days of Abijah; and the Lord struck him, and he died.  21 But Abijah grew mighty, married fourteen wives, and begot twenty-two sons and sixteen daughters.  22 Now the rest of the acts of Abijah, his ways, and his sayings are written in the annals of the prophet Iddo.  2 Chronicles 13:13-22

Beloved brethren and fellow Americans we must fight against the assault upon our Constitutional Republic relying upon the Lord Jesus Christ to fight with US as we fight the wicked left!  Abijah was surprised by the vehement attack, but he cried out to the Lord & His priests sounded the trumpets. Believers need to be upon their knees crying out to Jesus Christ as we FIGHT against this onslaught of fearmongers trying to suppress a fair and honest election.  Jill Stein who praises communist Castro should be sued for her frivolous recount efforts!  America must defeat these foes who fight against our great nation, our electoral process and our duly elected President!  As we defeat them by God’s power and enabling we will see peace and prosperity return to our land.

1 So Abijah rested with his fathers, and they buried him in the City of David.  Then Asa his son reigned in his place.  In his days the land was quiet for ten years.  2 Asa did what was good and right in the eyes of the Lord his God, 3 for he removed the alters of the foreign gods and the high places, and broke down the sacred pillars and cut down the wooden images.  4 He commanded Judah to seek the Lord God of their fathers, and to observe the law and the commandment.  5 He also removed the high places and the incense altars from all the cites of Judah, and the kingdom was quiet under him.  6 And he built fortified cities in Judah, for the land had rest; he had no war in those years, because the Lord had given him rest.  7 Therefore he said to Judah, “Let us build these cities and make walls around them, and towers, gates, and bars, while the land is yet before us, because we have sought the Lord our God; we have sought Him, and He has given us rest on every side.” So they built and prospered.  8 And Asa had an army of three hundred thousand from Judah who carried shields and spears, and from Benjamin two hundred and eighty thousand men who carried shields and drew bows; all these were mighty men of valor.  2 Chronicles 14:1-8

Because Asa’s father Abijah had faithfully fought against the infidels within the land and prevailed by God’s great power, Asa reigned during peaceful and prosperous years building and fortifying Judah.  His work was led of God and protected the nation against an attack from outside forces.  Our military, infrastructure and nation have suffered greatly under the presidency of Barak Obama.  America rejected his last eight years by electing Donald J Trump, under his leadership we can experience a great turn around for our nation.  America and Americans must overcome the evil leftist forces in our nation trying to destroy our country and who have made US vulnerable to attacks both foreign and domestic.  This is serious business; we must pray and work diligently to see it all turned around!  Like king Asa and Judah America must live lives of integrity, honesty and goodness with one another.

9 Then Zerah the Ethiopian came out against them with an army of a million men and three hundred chariots, and he came to Mareshah.  10 So Asa went out against him, and they set the troops in battle array in the Valley of Zephathah at Mareshah. 11 And Asa cried out to the Lord his God, and said, “Lord, it is nothing for You to help, whether with many or with those who have no power; help us, O Lord our God, for we rest on You, and in Your name we go against this multitude, O Lord, You are our God; do not let man prevail against You!”  12 So the Lord struck the Ethiopians before Asa and Judah, and the Ethiopians fled.  13 And Asa and the people who were with them pursued them to Gerar.  So the Ethiopians were overthrown, and the could not recover, for they were broken before the Lord and His army.  And they carried away very much spoil.  14 Then they defeated all the cities around Gerar, for the fear of the Lord came upon them; and they plundered all the cities, for there was exceedingly much spoil in them.  15 They also attacked the livestock enclosures, and carried off sheep and camels in abundance, and returned to Jerusalem.  2 Chronicles 14:9-15

Judah was attacked by overwhelming forces, but God brought about a great deliverance and victory for Judah. Beloved all the harm the left has done the last eight years under Barak Obama may seem overwhelming but as we look to the Lord Jesus Christ relying on His deliverance while we fight we can overturn all the evil we see extant in the land and then gather in the resources set aside for evil purposes and instead use them for good.  There is so much encouragement for US in this passage out of the Old Testament.  Of a truth, God’s Word is a great encouragement to our hearts as we fight against evil in the land relying upon Him to deliver US from evil.  Faithful believers in Jesus Christ let us work for the prosperity, peace and healing of the United States of America through obedient faith and reliant prayer.

Dear Lord Jesus Christ we ask that You not allow our enemies to prevail against Your beloved children and this mighty nation.  We ask that You would give US the victory over its foes and keep your children safe who live here.  We praise You and trust You to save US.  Amen!

“Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.” 1 Samuel 17:47

Working

Beloved brethren I think I should explain to you why I haven’t posted anything on my blog for quite a while, I have been working and my husband has retired, so I have been very distracted!  While my job does make demands of my time when I’m not in the classroom, it’s not the only work that I have been doing.  I have been tweeting and working the phone bank for Trump!  This probably needs explanation so I want to share a couple of passages from the Scriptures that have been an encouragement to me as I have been engaged in this work.

First, God’s Word, the Bible exhorts us to expose the evil works of others.  I tweet about Hillary’s corruption warning others who might not be aware.  Beloved, if she wins the presidency our Constitutional Republic is doomed and we can kiss our freedoms good-bye!  She will stack the Supreme Court with jurists who support the despotic left’s agenda, and they will work to continue to erode our rights guaranteed to US by the Bill of Rights. This will lead to a dictatorial leftist regime.  We have already experienced a foretaste of this nightmarish governmental oppression through political correctness, redistribution of wealth and chaotic disturbances throughout our nation!  So here are a few passages to support working for these concerns.

11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.  12 For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. 13 But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light.  14 Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.”  15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.  Ephesians 5:11-15

Exposing the corruption of Hillary Clinton allows others to see it and so avoid being partakers with her in her evil schemes.  She has manifested her corruption in so many ways during the last 30 years, but her appointment as Secretary of State really revealed the depths of her malignancy!  She not only mishandled government documents, she used her position as a means to enrich herself through the Clinton Foundation and the popularity of her husband.  She also destroyed entire nations through her wanton pursuit of death and destruction.  She has clearly proven to be unfit to be our leader.  People who understand how dangerous she really is will not vote for her!  We must be wise redeeming our time in these evil days exposing the evil works of others and calling out to those around us to come into the light of Jesus Christ.

1 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.  3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.  1 Timothy 2:1-4

Under Obama we have witnessed the disruption and chaos engendered in our country through Black Lives Matter, which is nothing more than a group of thugs working for the left!  If they really cared about Black lives, then they would be peacefully protesting in Chicago the murder capital of the nation where black on black violence far exceeds any other category of violence against blacks.  Under Hillary we can well imagine this type of violent disruption could greatly increase and spread.  God’s Word makes it clear that peace and quiet gives opportunity for believers to share the gospel, the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ, that He died upon the cross for our sins, and rose again from the dead giving remission of sins, and eternal life to all who repent of their sin and believe in Him.  Exposing her support of Black Lives Matter warns others that she would be a grave danger to our nation if she should win the White House.

She’s not only a threat because of her support of domestic terrorists, she is explicitly a threat because of her support for Islamic terrorists. Through her work as Secretary of State ISIS came into creation!  Now she wants to bring them over to the US through the Syrian Refugee program.  Hillary has herself admitted the refugees cannot be thoroughly vetted, yet she isn’t hampered in her zeal to bring them over by concern for her fellow citizens.  How many more Americans have to be murdered and maimed by these radical Islamic terrorists before America wakes up and says “Don’t bring them here, we don’t want them?”  God’s Word describes these beasts in this way:

12 He shall be a wild man: His hand shall be against everyman, And every man’s hand against him. And he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.”  Genesis 16:12

Whenever government officials overthrow the Divine appointment given to them of upholding the law and furthering national tranquility, the governed must hold them accountable, especially in our nation because that is our right and our heritage!  We get to elect our leaders; we must be sober about such a tremendous responsibility and use it wisely.  We see the horrible spread of corruption throughout our nation because of the unseemly influence of the Clinton Cartel.  US has the right to reject her and elect Trump!

1 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities.  For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.  2 Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.  3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil.  Do you want to be unafraid of the authority?  Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same.  4 For he is God’s minister to you for good.  But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.  Romans 13:1-4

The entire Obama administration has abandoned their duty to uphold the law and call an egregious criminal to account!  The Justice Department, the FBI, and the Presidency have conspired against justice and the American people in covering up for Hillary Clinton!  They are upending God’s directive!  In this nation, we have the right to address such evil through the electoral process.  Trump has promised to hold Hillary Clinton accountable for her crimes and has pledged to root out the corruption in our nation’s capital.  She must be brought to account or corruption will continue to spread throughout our nation like gangrene!

We have to remember that God is love!  He doesn’t support nor promote this evil!  He wants believers to promote what is good and beneficial for all.  This passage from Galatians is the reason why I am working hard and praying diligently to see Donald J. Trump elected as President of the United States of America.

9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.  10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.  Galatians 6:9-10

Beloved brethren I don’t want to see my fellow Americans defrauded, oppressed, and murdered as a result of Hillary Clinton being elected President!  I don’t want to see our Christian faith, our Christian brothers and sisters persecuted for their faith, especially by wicked Muslims.  That’s why I have been working diligently, doing my small part, to see that Donald J. Trump is elected the 45th President of the United States of America.  He has pledged to restore our country to its founding principles, undo the corruption that has mired it in decline and work for American citizens, not special interests or foreign nations.  So please forgive me for neglecting my blog.  I am looking forward to writing once more about God’s Word and His glorious gospel of grace.

9 “If we this day are judged for a good deed done to a helpless man, by what means he has been made will, 10 let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole.  11 This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’ 12 “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:9-12

Lord Jesus Christ please do a mighty work in exposing the corruption and bankruptcy of Hillary Clinton to warn the nation against voting for her.  Please bring her to repent of her sin and put her faith in You, Jesus Christ!  Please bless and protect Donald Trump, prosper his way, and encourage the nation to vote for him to be our next president.  Thank you that he has repented of his sin and put his faith in You.  Please give him hunger to know You, love You and serve You.  Make him a student of Your Word the Holy Bible.  Thank you Lord Jesus Christ.  Amen!

Offense

Why should the love of God given to mankind through His Son Jesus Christ offend any human being?  Isn’t that what we all want, to be loved?  Don’t we yearn to be cherished, protected, well taken care of?  The Lord God Almighty has compassion and love for mankind; He has put it on display through His Son Jesus Christ.  Many, however, will never respond to His love because they are offended by the cross of Jesus Christ.  Why?

Scripture gives us two ways that people are offended by the cross of Jesus Christ.  The first is because Jesus Christ’s death upon the cross nullifies our self-righteousness.  The second is because His death doesn’t align with our sensibilities. Following are the two passages from God’s Holy Word, the Bible, that reveal these mindsets.

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.  (2)  Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.  (3)  For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.  (4)  Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.  (5)  For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.  (6)  For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.  (7)  Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?  (8)  This persuasion cometh not of Him that calleth you.  (9)  A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.  (10)  I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.  (11)  And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.  Galatians 5:1-11

Certain Judaizers had come to the region of Galatia telling believers they must be circumcised to be justified before God, or saved.  This was completely contrary to the gospel which Paul had preached to them.  Paul preached belief in the gospel of Jesus Christ as sufficient for salvation.  The Galatian believers were leaving the sure foundation of truth of the gospel laid down for them by Paul and were reverting to a works righteousness salvation procured through circumcision.  The Holy Spirit, through Paul reminded them and us that works righteousness is incompatible with the grace of God given to us through faith in Jesus Christ and what He has done for us through His death upon the cross for our sins and resurrection from the dead for our justification.  Self-righteous people can never believe they are too evil and their works completely tainted to ever deserve God’s grace.  They refuse to see their utter depravity and inability to do anything to affect their salvation.  So they refuse the grace of God proffered to them in the cross of Jesus Christ. Self-righteous people are offended by the cross of Jesus Christ and refuse to humbly accept His genuine offer of gracious salvation based upon His merit, His work, His standing before Almighty God.  Through the cross of Jesus Christ, we either die to sin and self and live to God for all eternity in heaven, or we die to life and true righteousness and enter eternal damnation in fiery hell.  The cross of Jesus Christ not only slays our self-righteousness it also smashes our sensibilities.

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.  (19)  For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.  (20)  Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?  (21)  For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.  (22)  For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:  (23)  But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishness;  (24)  But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. 1Corinthians 1:18-24

Paul, by the Holy Spirit, clearly lays out the conflict between mankind and the message of the cross of Jesus Christ. The Jews, or religious, want signs to prove the veracity of the cross, while the rest of the world wants intellectual feats of wonderment to win them to the cross. The gospel of Jesus Christ renders the wisdom of man of no effect and at the same time is the greatest display of God’s power throughout all time.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.  (17)  For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. Romans 1:16-17

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; (2)  By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.  (3)  For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures;  (4)  And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures: 1Corinthians 15:1-4

In the final verse of 1 Corinthians chapter one we see that Paul acknowledges the only way that anyone overcomes the offense of the cross of Jesus Christ, they must be called.  Jesus Christ Himself made this abundantly clear when confronting Jewish unbelief recorded for us in the Gospel of John.

Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.  (44)  No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent Me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.  (45)  It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto Me.  (46)  Not that any man hath seen the Father, save He which is of God, He hath seen the Father.  (47)  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on Me hath everlasting life… But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray Him.  (65)  And He said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto Me, except it were given unto him of My Father.  John 6:43-65

The cross of Jesus Christ renders human pride of no effect.  We either humble ourselves before God, repent of our sins, and receive His gospel grace given to us through Jesus Christ’s death upon the cross taking the punishment we deserve and His life given to us for all eternity through His resurrection from the dead, or we continue on in our lost estate, die in our sins, and spend eternity suffering in fiery hell.  God’s commands all to repent, His power is sufficient for us to heed His call, is efficacious to all who are called by Him.  May Christ Jesus grant you repent faith and salvation through belief in His gospel of grace.

Lord Jesus Christ You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father but through You. May you bring many to repentant faith in You for their salvation and Your glory.  Amen!

Open Letter To Congress

Beloved brethren my education about the corruption within the government of this country has increased while I have been reading information on twitter and other sites. It is important that you know the truth. Please read this and contact your elected officials and demand they do their job and protect our country!

kazmierskireport

I realize that you are all corrupt, and are indebted to special interest groups and donors, however, this does not allow for your inaction in addressing treasonous activity, regardless of the position that the perpetrator holds.

In this particular instance, I am referring to your lack of attention and inaction referencing President Barack Obama.  Are you going to  allow our country to fall into the hands of the United Nations?  Have you no regard for the sovereignty of the United States?  Are you going to ignore the fact that Barack Obama is using executive action to surrender our nation to the UN?

Our forefathers drew up a constitution to protect us from, exactly, this type of behavior.  Since when has the United States sponsored terrorism?  This is exactly what Barack Obama did, when he gave $400,000,000.00 to Iran for release of hostages, thereby painting a target on any American traveling…

Prayer: Part Four

Beloved we live in a nation that has been hijacked by wicked and depraved forces.  The candidacy of Hillary Rodham Clinton is mired in scandal due to her wanton corruption, collusion with wicked regimes, obstruction of justice and lying to the American people.  We have been subjugated to her intrigue against our nation, and to eight years of Obama’s blatant attack upon the American people and the values of our nation.  Obama and Clinton are both members of the global elites bent on disenfranchising American citizens from our Constitutional form of government and the Bill of Rights.  At times like this it is good that we can pray for our nation, against the forces of evil and for the establishment of righteousness.  Following are examples of saints from the Old Testament praying against the wicked.

Why standest thou afar off, O LORD? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?  (2)  The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.  (3)  For the wicked boasteth of his heart’s desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.  (4)  The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.  (5)  His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.  (6)  He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.  (7)  His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.  (8)  He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.  (9)  He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.  (10)  He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.  (11)  He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.  (12)  Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.  (13)  Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it.  (14)  Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.  (15)  Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.  (16)  The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.  (17)  LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:  (18)  To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress. Psalm 10:1-18

Beloved we can and should pray against the work of the wicked usurpers in this country who are caught up in scandalous graft.  Note these wicked workers reject God and His truth; they are set upon doing evil in the land against the innocent and helpless.  We must pray for continued exposure of Clinton’s corruption and the collusion of the mainstream media in working to keep her unaccountable from her criminal acts.  Another portion of the Psalms gives us a clear understanding of the abhorrence of them to our Holy God!

A Prayer of David. Hear the right, O LORD, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips.  (2)  Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes behold the things that are equal.  (3)  Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.  (4)  Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.  (5)  Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.  (6)  I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.  (7)  Shew thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them.  (8)  Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,  (9)  From the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about.  (10)  They are inclosed in their own fat: with their mouth they speak proudly.  (11)  They have now compassed us in our steps: they have set their eyes bowing down to the earth;  (12)  Like as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.  (13)  Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword:  (14)  From men which are thy hand, O LORD, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.  (15)  As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.  Psalm 17:1-15

Wicked men and women have always been on the face of this earth.  As the righteous of the Lord we must oppose them because of the havoc and destruction the wreak throughout the earth.  Let us commit to pray against these evildoers and intercede for Donald Trump that he will prevail in his bid to be President of the United States of America!

When it goeth well with the righteous, the city rejoiceth: and when the wicked perish, there is shouting.  (11)  By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted: but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.  Proverbs 11:10-11

Lord Jesus Christ You are God Who rules overall and You know the hearts and see the actions of all of the depraved.  Please protect US from the schemes of these wicked people and establish righteousness in the land.  Amen!

As He Walked

As believers in Jesus Christ, that should be our goal, to emulate Jesus Christ so we are justified when we call ourselves Christians.  In 1 Peter, God the Holy Spirit, in His Holy Word the Bible, calls us to walk just as Jesus walked.  This call is diametrically opposed to what we think, what our flesh wants, or what much of the visible church teaches.

21 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps: 22 “Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth”; 23 who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return, when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; 24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.  25 For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.  1 Peter 2:21-25

One thing to keep in mind is that Christ’s behavior was controlled by the divine purpose of His work to save sinners.  Through Christ’s humility He saved us when He died upon the cross bearing our sins, so that we can die to sins and live for righteousness, following our Savior, who is our Shepherd and Overseer.  All of this gives me great comfort and encouragement.  I hope you are encouraged too.

This passage comes after Peter exhorts slaves to be respectful to their masters whether they are kind or not, and after this passage, wives are encouraged to exhibit the same behavior.  This epistle ends with the declaration that living this way is the grace of God.  As we look to other verses in the New Testament Scriptures we can see this exhortation repeated over and over again, and we can read of Christ’s supreme example that we should follow for His glory and the blessing of others.

Before, I write out those other passages, I just want to confess that these verses are more for me than for anyone else.  I am sharing them because I believe we all struggle with the flesh, which is biblical truth.  I am far too often more concerned with my rights and well-being than I am with God’s glory and the benefit of others.  This exhortation speaks directly to my heart and I am thankful the Lord laid it upon my heart as I was cleaning up the kitchen this evening.  Jesus Christ is so kind and loving to us, praise His Holy Name.  Amen!

So the verse that I started to think about was out of Ephesians, the verse that exhorts us to walk worthy of the Lord with all lowliness.  I want to share that verse and then share a passage about Jesus Christ and His amazing, gracious lowliness.  Sharing godly exhortation through the Scriptures should encourage us in the love of Jesus Christ and incite within us a greater desire to obey and glorify Him, as laid out for us in God’s Holy Word, the Bible.  It is worth noting that the passage I share comes after God’s declaration of His glorious salvation and love given to His church, His beloved people.

1 I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, 2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love.  Ephesians 4:1-2

Paul, God’s Apostle called out of due season, expressly emulates Christ’s behavior by being a prisoner of the Lord, not bewailing his imprisonment, but using it as a springboard to exhort his beloved brethren to walk the same way.  My beloved brethren, we are the ones to whom he is writing.  Paul’s lowliness caused him to consider his imprisonment only in the light of Christ’s calling and how it could further the gospel and minister to his brothers and sisters.  That is lowliness.  Not considering ourselves but considering others.  The lowliness must be with the right attitude of gentleness, longsuffering and love, not resentment or self-righteousness.  The Holy Spirit, through Paul, again exhorts us to follow Jesus Christ in lowliness in another passage in the Scriptures.

27 Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel…Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, bit in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.  4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.  5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 Who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.  8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.  9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.  12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.  Philippians 1:27 & 2:3-13

Again our beloved brother Paul exhorts us to walk worthy of the gospel of Jesus Christ in the unity of the faith not allowing anything to keep us from esteeming others better than ourselves, instead being concerned with their well-being and interests.  Jesus Christ epitomized this perfectly when He left heaven, became a man and died upon the cross.  The love of God drove Him to deny Himself and His glory so that He could save us from our sins.  The end result is salvation of sinners, those who repent of their sins and put their faith in Jesus Christ, and the ultimate universal exaltation of Jesus Christ as Lord.  His name, Jesus, our Savior, is the unique name given to the only One Who can save His people from their sins.  As Christ’s beloved redeemed ones, we must follow Christ’s example by denying our wicked flesh and submitting to the will of our Father in heaven.  As we seek to obey and glorify God in all circumstances, He works in us to do His will for His good pleasure.  As God the Father honored God His Son, Jesus Christ, for His faithful obedience, He promises to honor all who will walk as Jesus walked, in all lowliness, humility and obedience, as we follow Jesus Christ our Savior.  Praise God for His work in us and praise God for His blessings to us through Jesus Christ.  Amen!

21 “And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”  Matthew 1:21

26 “If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also.  If anyone serves me, him My Father will honor.  John 12:26

12 By Silvanus, our faithful brother, as I consider him, I have written to you briefly, exhorting and testifying that this is the true grace of God in which you stand.  1 Peter 5:12

Lord Jesus Christ how can we sufficiently thank You for all of Your goodness and love given to us.  May our lives be worthy of Your gospel, and may we follow You in lowliness of mind.  In Your name we pray.  Amen!

God’s Nation

There is only one nation of the face of the earth that is called to be God’s nation, and that is the nation of Israel.  They alone were specifically chosen of God to be His special people, a nation to follow His statutes and to dwell in the land that He gave them to possess.

1 “Now, O Israel, listen to the statutes and the judgments which I teach you to observe, that you may live and go in and possess the land which the Lord God of your fathers is giving you.  2 You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you…7 For what great nation is there that has God so near to it, as the Lord our God is to us, for whatever reason we may call upon Him?  8 And what great nation is there that has such statutes and righteous judgments as are in all this law which I set before you this day?  9 Only take heed to yourself, and diligently keep yourself, lest you forget the things your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life.  And teach them to your children and your grandchildren, …Deuteronomy 4:1-2 & 7-9

20 “O, Lord, there is none like You, nor is there any God besides You, according to all that we have heard with our ears.  21 And who is like Your people Israel, the one nation on the earth whom God went to redeem for Himself as a people—to make for Yourself a name by great and awesome deeds, by driving out nations from before Your people whom You redeemed from Egypt?  22 For You have made Your people Israel Your very own people forever; and You, Lord, have become their God.  1 Chronicles 17:20-22

Israel did not keep God’s judgments, nor worship Him alone, and added to and took away from His Word; and God drove them from the land that He had given to them.  He promised to restore them to the land and He did, not once, but twice.  And so we see the nation of Israel dwelling in the land that God gave to them in national unrepentant unbelief.  This also is God’s plan, because He has sent a Savior, His Son Jesus Christ the Messiah to save for Himself a people from among the Gentiles to be His very own.  My brethren, this is the time of the Gentiles in God’s economy, until their number is fulfilled and then God promises to save His people, the nation of Israel.

25 For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.  26 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written:  “The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob; 27 For this is My covenant with them, When I take away their sins.”  28 Concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the election they are beloved for the sake of the fathers.  29 For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.  30 For you were once disobedient to God, yet have now obtained mercy through their disobedience, 31 even so these also have now been disobedient, that through the mercy shown you they also may obtain mercy.  Romans 11:25-31

God’s plan for all peoples is they repent and put their faith in His Son Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and reconciliation to God.

21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might be the righteousness of God in Him.  1 We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain.  2 For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.”  Behold, now is the accepted time; behold now is the day of salvation.  2 Corinthians 5:21-6:2

If the peoples of any nation will repent of their sin and put their faith in Jesus Christ the Redeemer, then that nation will be blessed by God even though they are not His called out nation.  God’s people are only those who have believed the gospel and put their faith in the Savior Jesus Christ.  They have believed that God the Father sent Jesus Christ His Son to be Savior of the World that whosoever should believe in Him should not perish but have eternal life, because they believe that Jesus Christ died upon the cross for their sins, was buried and then rose again from the dead the third day, ascended into heaven sitting at the right hand of God on high, whose return for His church is imminent, and will come back to judge this world in righteousness as clearly taught throughout the Old and New Testaments.

If individuals of any nation collectively repent of their sin and believe in Jesus Christ they will be saved, and God will pour out His blessings upon that nation.  On the other hand, if the people of any land collectively reject Jesus Christ through worshipping a false Christ, rejecting His Holy Word the Bible and believe they can sin with impunity then God will withdraw His hand of blessing and allow calamity throughout that land.  America is experiencing calamity because the church has preached a corrupted gospel and rejected the Word of God, the Holy Bible as true.  If we want to see our nation turned around, then the church must repent and turn back to God.  May God pour out His Holy Spirit upon this nation and graciously grant us repentance to turn from our evil ways and be reconciled to God through His Son Jesus Christ.  We are witnesses to the destruction that is occurring within the nations that mock God and His Son Jesus Christ.  Do we think we are stronger than God?  We must repent!  The fruit of our lives will bear witness to His work of repentant faith within our hearts, that we are His saved children bound for heaven, saved from the terrors of hell which we deserve because of our sinful works, and delivered from the calamities reserved for the peoples of nations who reject the truth.

11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.  15 Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority.  Let no one despise you.  1 Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work, 2 to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.  3 For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasure, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another.  4 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, 5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.  Titus 2:11-3:2

Lord Jesus Christ may we always remember that You are the only One Who can change the human heart and create a saved child of God bound for heaven living a life to please You.  May You bring many to repentant faith in You.  Amen!
